Mirepoix is a lovely little town, made free of traffic during summer which adds to the charms of the historic arcades, the nice terraces, the squares. Each Monday is market day, this is a very enjoyable, not to be missed event attracting lots of people.
Nearby Mirepoix, only a few kilometers away, lies Sibra with our guesthouse Mi-René where we will lodge you so that you can discover this marvelous country.
Your host is René Vanden Avenne, his part-time assistant is Rose-Mary, the wife of his second life.
His background is the economic world of figures and charts which he left behind at the age of 55 in order to realize his youth-dream and immigrate to this Pays Cathare starting up a small guesthouse to share the charm of these wonderful surroundings.
He likes to read, to listen to music, to live naturally while wandering. His further skills cover personal coaching and …. cooking. You may have the opportunity to meet him in one of these fields or if you want to live the holiday by yourself, so be it: it is as good a choice. Rose-Mary is active in emotional wellbeing and skilled in massage based on essential aroma oils.
Inside, smoking is not allowed and the site is not easily accessible for users of wheelchairs and physically handicapped persons.
